From drop-off to pick-up, safety first!

Your child's safety is our number one priority, and we value the trust you place in us. Our days are not just filled with laughter and fun; we take our responsibility seriously. That's why we have robust building security, hire dependable caregivers, contracted an on-call nurse practitioner, and enforce strict safety measures to protect our community from COVID-19. You can rest easy knowing your child is in safe and caring hands.

On-Site Nurse Support

At Phoenix Kids Club, the health, safety, and well-being of our children and families are a top priority. We are proud to offer access to an on-call licensed nurse, a key part of our commitment to supporting working families with reliable, uninterrupted childcare.

Our on-call nurse practitioner allows us to care for children who may not be feeling their best while still ensuring they are safe, comfortable, and properly monitored throughout the day. If your child becomes ill while in our care, you will be notified promptly and informed that your child is resting in the Wellness Bay (a clean, constantly sanitized, and secured classroom dedicated for providing quality care for children who aren't feeling well) with one of our qualified teachers who are under the medical guidance of our on-call nurse practitioner. Parents will only be asked to pick up their child in cases of true medical emergencies or when it is medically necessary to do so (depending on membership selection).

This service is a major benefit for our families. It helps reduce work disruptions, prevents parents from facing job-related consequences due to unexpected sick-day pickups, and provides peace of mind knowing your child is receiving professional care while you continue your workday.

Children who are not feeling well will be cared for in a separate, designated space away from children who are healthy. They will be supported by a dedicated teacher, ensuring they remain engaged in the curriculum in a calm, comfortable, and safe way—without compromising the health of others.

Our on-call nurse model reflects our understanding of real-life parenting and work demands. By providing medical oversight, individualized care, and flexible support, Phoenix Kids Club removes common childcare barriers and helps families maintain stability, consistency, and confidence in their childcare experience.

If you have any questions about our on-call nurse services or health support policies, please feel free to reach out. We are always here to support you and your family.

Mild Illness Support for Working Families

Medically Guided. Parent-Centered. Safety First.

  • At Phoenix Kids Club, we understand that life doesn’t pause when your child wakes up with a sniffle, low-grade fever, or mild discomfort. For working parents, leaving work suddenly or missing an entire day can be stressful and overwhelming.

  • That’s why we offer our Well Child Attendance Benefit — a unique, supportive program that allows children with mild, non-contagious symptoms to remain in care under enhanced supervision and wellness monitoring, guided by our on-call Family Nurse Practitioner.

  • This service is designed to support families while maintaining the highest standards of health, safety, and licensing compliance.

What Makes This Different?

  •  Enhanced supervision by wellness-trained staff

  •  Guidance from an on-call Family Nurse Practitioner

  •  Reduced stimulation and increased comfort care

  •  Clear illness boundaries and infection-control protocols

  •  Immediate parent communication and escalation if needed

  •  Support for working parents without compromising safety

What This Benefit Is

  • A short-term, mild illness monitoring support program

  • A work-support solution for parents

  • A medically guided childcare enhancement

  • A safety-first alternative to unnecessary emergency pick-ups

What This Benefit Is Not

  • A medical clinic

  • A diagnostic or treatment service

  • A replacement for your child’s pediatrician

  • A program for contagious or exclusion-level illnesses

How It Works

If your child arrives with mild symptoms that fall within state attendance guidelines:

  1. A wellness check is completed by trained staff

  2. Guidance is obtained from the on-call Family Nurse Practitioner

  3. Your child is cared for in a calm, low-stimulation environment

  4. Symptoms are monitored and documented

  5. You receive updates throughout the day

  6. If symptoms worsen, you are contacted for pick-up within one hour

Care may take place in a wellness room, a low-stimulation classroom area, or a designated comfort space, depending on your child’s needs and daily operations.

A Parent Scenario

Your preschooler arrives with mild congestion and a low-grade temperature but is eating, playing, and comfortable. You are scheduled for an important work shift and cannot leave immediately.

Our team consults the on-call Family Nurse Practitioner, who confirms the symptoms appear mild and non-contagious. Your child rests in a quiet area with a dedicated caregiver who provides fluids, comfort, and monitoring. You receive updates, and your child remains stable. You’re able to finish your workday without panic, knowing your child is safe and supported.

Peace of Mind for Families

The Sick Child Attendance Benefit reflects Phoenix Kids Club’s commitment to:

  • Working families

  • Medically guided wellness practices

  • Licensing compliance

  • Safety-first decision making

  • Real-life parent needs

Because childcare should support your life — not disrupt it.
