Hello PKC Parents,

My name is Shanell Williams, and I am the proud Owner and Founder of The Phoenix Kids Club (PKC). I created PKC from lived experience. As a single parent, I understand firsthand how challenging it can be to find childcare that is not only affordable, but also safe, reliable, and genuinely nurturing.

I also understand the anxiety that comes with entrusting your child to someone else’s care. I know this feeling because I am a mother of three beautiful children who have attended both in-home childcare and traditional daycare facilities. I remember paying over $300 per week and still feeling dissatisfied with both the cost and the quality of care—but continuing anyway because, like many parents, I felt I had no alternative. Without childcare, I couldn’t work. Without work, I couldn’t provide. So, I did what many parents do—I made it work, even when it was difficult.

The Phoenix Kids Club was born from that experience. PKC was created to be a safe, dependable, and enriching place where children can truly enjoy being kids—while parents have peace of mind. Our program encourages children to explore, grow, and connect with their peers in a supportive environment, while also supporting parents who may be facing the same challenges I once faced.

Traditional childcare can often feel overpriced, overwhelming, and inconsistent. Phoenix Kids Club is different. We are a membership-based program, designed with flexibility, quality, and community at the forefront—similar in structure, but uniquely different in purpose and care.

Our History

Founded in August 2020, The Phoenix Kids Club's staff and owner has over 30 years of combined experience with caring for children and building healthy lasting relationships with families.

What is the Phoenix Kids Club?

Phoenix Kids Club LLC is a forward-thinking childcare organization designed to meet the real needs of modern families. We revolutionize traditional childcare by offering a dual-focused model that supports both children and parents through high-quality care, medical accessibility, and unmatched flexibility.

At Phoenix Kids Club, children are cared for in a safe, structured, and nurturing environment where age-appropriate education, consistent routines, and positive behavioral guidance are the foundation of our programming. These same standards extend beyond early learning into our comprehensive aftercare services for school-aged children, ensuring continuous developmental support throughout each stage of childhood.

What truly sets Phoenix Kids Club apart is our Build-A-Care Model—a flexible, membership-based approach that allows families to customize childcare based on their specific needs. Rather than forcing families into rigid schedules or fixed tuition plans, our Build-A-Care Model empowers parents to select the days, hours, and level of care they actually require. This model ensures families only pay for what they use, making quality childcare more affordable, predictable, and accessible on a weekly basis. Whether care is needed early mornings, evenings, overnight, weekends, or around fluctuating work schedules, Phoenix Kids Club adapts to families—never the other way around.

The Build-A-Care Model is especially impactful for working parents with nontraditional or unpredictable schedules. By removing scheduling and financial rigidity, we help parents maintain employment, pursue career advancement, and manage life’s demands without constant childcare disruptions.

Phoenix Kids Club is also proud to be the only childcare center in our service area with access to a licensed Family Practitioner Nurse (FPN) through our partnership with Innate Caring Needs, LLC. This medical guided access allows children to attend our facilities even when they are not feeling well—eliminating one of the most common reasons parents miss work. With professional medical oversight available during care hours, parents can confidently go to work knowing their child is monitored, supported, and safe.

Through this inclusive, flexible, and medically supported approach, Phoenix Kids Club removes barriers for families who have historically struggled to find dependable childcare solutions. By combining educational excellence, customizable care plans, and on-site medical access, we provide a truly comprehensive childcare model that supports all families—regardless of schedule, circumstance, or medical need.
